That shot was quite the hearbreaker... especially with Schilling cruising as he was. Goes to show all it takes is one pitch.

Papi popped up a bad pitch he never should have swung to make out and end the game...

Sept. Drama... love it and hate it

Jeter is smug though, like Kobe... he isn't as humble as he tries to come off.

Can't say as I disagree with you, but I also can't say I wouldn't love to have him on my team. M-F'er is as clutch as they come.

But, as I stated, the transition jam in the E/E from 10/29/77 makes ANY problem seem insignificant.

No doubt. I'd take Jeter over A-Rod any day for that reason.

I've been lost in '74 land for the better part of a month.
